The LEGO® Batman line was introduced in 2006 with only a handful of models. Luckily for Batman fans, the Danish toy maker looks to be ramping up its offerings of Batman-inspired LEGO sets, with the release of new LEGO Batman models that are greater in size and quantity.

70905 The Batmobile

This 581-piece set is designed to provide kids ages eight to 14 with a rewarding building experience. Let the kids play out the action-packed scenes from the Batman movie, as they race around Gotham City using the Batmobile with three driving modes. The Batmobile also features a dual cockpit to sit two LEGO minifigures, and a roof pop-off function that is activated when you turn the back engine. This model is designed with the classic red and black color scheme that is reminiscent of the 1960s Batmobile. It also has two stud shooters and multidirectional wheels with big rubber tires that can be repositioned for race mode, parallel-parking mode, and monster truck mode.

It includes two minifigures: Batman and Mr. Freeze. The Batman minifigure has a dual-sided expression (smiling face and angry face), comes with a utility belt design, and has a flamethrower gun that the minifigure can hold. THE LEGO Batman Movie Batcave Break-in set has 1,047 pieces for building the intricately detailed Batcave that features a transformation chamber, where kids can place the Bruce Wayne minifigure to transform into Batman. The rotating wardrobe has three different minifigure bodies for Batman: Raging Batsuit, Scu-Batsuit, and the Bat-Pack Batsuit.

The Bat vehicle of choice for this set is a Desert Buggy, which features two stud shooters, weapon holders where you can put Batman's sword and Batarang, and a black and gold colour scheme.

Ra's al Ghul's hideout incorporates only the important parts including the Lazarus Pit with an action feature that lets you place a minifigure on the catapult to launch the characters into battle. There is also a door exploding feature that can be operated by pushing the cell door's lever.  When assembled, Ra's al Ghul's headquarters measures 7 inches wide, over 3 inches high, and 4 inches deep.

This exciting LEGO set is ideal for kids ages six to 12 who love playing out scenes from the Batman movie. Using 269 pieces of LEGO bricks, kids can build the Batjet that has an opening cockpit where you can put a minifigure, two stud shooters on the front, and two printed console pieces. The set also includes Brother Eye, which has a built-in light, a single stud shooter along the edge, and articulated arms. Minifigures include Batman, OMAC, and Batwoman.

76055 Batman™: Killer Croc™ Sewer Smash

This is a fantastic set to build for DC Comics fans and LEGO builders ages eight to 14. It comes with 759 pieces of LEGO bricks that you can use to build Batman's Bat-Tank, which features a stud shooter in front of the vehicle, an engine compartment, and a rounded cockpit with a small window that can be flipped up. The set includes minifigures of Batman, Captain Boomerang, Katana, Red Hood, and a Killer Croc figure. Once assembled, the Bat-Tank measures 6 inches wide, and 3 inches long.

76052 Batman™ Classic TV Series – Batcave

If you are a huge fan of classic Batman TV show, this set is perfect for you. With 2,526 pieces, you can build a Batcave that is designed after the Batcave featured in the 1960s Batman TV show. The model includes a bookcase that you can pull to reveal an entrance to the Batcave, an exterior wall on the Wayne Manor section, and Batpoles that you can move to the left and to the side. The set includes minifigures of Batman, Robin, Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Catwoman, The Joker, The Penguin, and The Riddler. 76053 Batman™: Gotham City Cycle Chase

This set has 224 pieces, and is appropriate for young LEGO builders ages seven to 14. The two builds are the Batcycle and Harley Quinn’s bike, which has a handlebar, adjustable exhausts, rubber tires, and a hinged clip on the side where you can place Harley's hammer to smash villains from the side. The minifigures included are Batman, Deadshot, and Harley Quinn, each with their own weapons. Deadshot holds a stud-shooting bazooka, while Batman has his Batarang, and Harley Quinn has a hammer on the side of her bike. When built, Harley Quinn’s bike measures 4 inches long, over 3 inches high, and 2 inches wide.

70908 The Scuttler

Using 775 pieces of LEGO bricks, you can build a highly posable Scuttler that features a set of articulated limbs, six stud shooters, an opening cockpit to sit a minifigure, a hidden jetpack, and a launching net shooter. Minifigures included are Batman, Dick Grayson, Commissioner Gordon, Barbara Gordon, The Joker, and Poison Ivy with a vine monster. The Scuttler measures 9 inches wide, 10 inches long, and over 8 inches high when the arms are retracted.  The build for this is pretty straightforward, and the result is a well-constructed set that will look great as a display piece.
